Where I live is beautiful. There are not words to describe how sometimes this place takes my breath away. Yes, there is rain but between the fog and beautiful clear days, I survive. This is paradise. I was born and raised in Hawaii (I am Hawaiian) and Hawaii is paradise too. I lived for 6 years in coastal North Carolina and that place had its moments as well. As did my year in Connecticut.
I feel like Paradise is what you make of it. While Washington State is BEAUTIFUL, so are my days in Hawaii, for a different reason. Each place is gorgeous but holds different meanings. To be honest anyplace is paradise if I have my dog and my husband. The couch is paradise, usually. If home is where the heart is, paradise is where you find home.
To show you the beauty I find in the place I live, This post is nothing but pictures I've taken and I have yet to do some real exploring of this beautiful state.
